Ultimate Disc – Three-Peat Champions!
The Johns Ultimate Disc team were unstoppable this term - undefeated through the regular season and crowned champions again for the third year running! We kicked things off with a win over Bruce Hall and kept the momentum going with big victories against Yukeembruk, Griffin, and Ursula. Finals were intense - a close semi against Wright Hall and a comeback Grand Final win over Burgmann, 7-6, sealed the title. Huge thanks to coaches Jas, Zac, Liv, and Nick for guiding the team, and a special shoutout to Kenzie Clews for making it to three finals in a row. Unreal effort all round!
Volleyball – Solid Results, Great Teamwork
It was a great season for both our volleyball teams. The Women’s team bounced back from a tough opening game to finish second on the ladder. They just missed out on the Grand Final but came back strong to beat Griffin Hall in a tight third-place playoff – awesome resilience and teamwork. The Men’s team also had a strong showing, with solid wins over Burgmann, Yukeembruk, and Burton & Garran. They finished the season in fifth after a gritty playoff win over Ursula Hall. Big thanks to our coaches Belle, Dom, and Harry for their leadership and support.
ISO Touch Footy Teams Deliver a Huge Term of Competition
It was a standout term for ISO Touch Footy, with both the men’s and women’s teams showcasing serious talent, teamwork, and determination. From fast-paced training sessions to high-stakes finals, the energy and commitment from both squads was on full display all season. The women’s team had an incredible run, going undefeated through the regular season and finishing it off in style with a commanding 6–1 Grand Final win over Wright Hall. The team’s composure, communication, and ability to execute under pressure were key to their success, and they consistently lifted each other throughout the campaign. The men’s team also had a stellar season, earning a well-deserved spot in the Grand Final after a series of gritty, hard-fought performances. In a tense and tightly contested final against Bruce Hall, they went down narrowly 3–4, but not without showing incredible resilience and team spirit. Their determination, defensive effort, and creativity in attack were highlights across the term.
A massive thank you goes to our incredible coaching team — Jack, Archie, Angus, Callie, Sasha, and Lara — for their time, guidance, and enthusiasm. Their leadership played a huge part in driving both teams forward. We’re proud of what ISO achieved this term and are already looking forward to building on this momentum next season.
