John XXIII College came together last week to celebrate and farewell our incredible third years and student leaders of 2026, a cohort that has shaped the energy, culture, and heart of the College in ways that will be remembered for years.

RA President Hugo Bennett delivered a heartfelt farewell, reflecting on the highs, challenges, laughs, hard work and unforgettable moments that defined their time at Johns. His words captured the spirit of a group who showed up for each other and for the community, setting the tone for what leadership at Johns truly looks like.

Head Support Resident Hayden O’Brien signed off with warmth and honesty, speaking about how this year strengthened and cemented friendships that will last well beyond College walls. He reminded everyone that the bonds they’ve built (and a bit gossip) are what make the Johns community so enduring.

Closing the evening, Head of College Jas Lincoln offered his thanks and best wishes. He shared his pride in all they’ve contributed and reminded them that while they may be moving on, they will always be part of the John XXIII College family.

To our departing third years and leaders - thank you. You have left your mark, and Johns is better for it. Good luck on the next chapter of your story.
