The Sydney Reunion was a night to remember, bringing together an incredible group of ex-ressies for an evening full of energy, laughter, and reconnection. Hosted in the stunning Mirar Bar at the Rawson Hotel in The Rocks, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for friendships to be rekindled and stories to be shared.
Our Head of College, Jas (Jason) Lincoln, welcomed everyone with a heartfelt speech about the strength of the Johns community. Jas reflected on how the friendships formed at the College continue long after graduation, a truth clearly demonstrated by the room full of familiar faces and lively conversations.
Looking ahead, Jas also shared an exciting initiative for 2026: the College is looking to establish a mentoring program connecting ex-ressies with current students. Alumni were invited to consider becoming mentors, supporting the next generation of Johns students as they begin their own journeys.
With a fantastic turnout and a warm, buzzing atmosphere, the Sydney Reunion was another great success - a reminder of the lifelong community that Johns creates.
We can’t wait to keep the momentum going and see even more of our ex-ressies at the upcoming reunions in Orange and Melbourne (we heard the calls for a Brissy Reunion - it's in the works).
